Bahrain to Host 93rd UFI Global Congress in November
Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) will host the 93rd UFI Global Congress from November 2 to 5, marking the first time the prestigious international event will be held in the Kingdom.
Hosted by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), the congress is expected to bring together hundreds of senior leaders and professionals from the global exhibitions and business events industry.
BTEA CEO and EWB Chairperson Sara Ahmed Buhiji said hosting the congress represents an important milestone for Bahrain and reflects the Kingdom’s growing standing as a destination for major international exhibitions and conferences.
She highlighted Bahrain’s hospitality, strategic location, cultural heritage and growing business events sector, adding that the congress will provide opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and international partnerships.
The UFI Global Congress is recognised as a major international gathering for the exhibitions industry, bringing together CEOs, venue operators, event organisers, association leaders, government representatives and industry innovators from around the world.
Participants will discuss the future of exhibitions, business events and international cooperation, while exploring emerging opportunities in Bahrain and the wider Gulf region.
The event is also expected to highlight Bahrain’s investments in innovation, connectivity, sustainability and world-class event infrastructure, further strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a leading business events destination in the Middle East.
