Interior Ministry HR wins global excellence award

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, His Excellency Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, has praised the Ministry’s Human Resources Department after it won the Global Continual Improvement Award 2025 in the “Happiness and Engagement” category, presented by the Dubai Quality Group in the United Arab Emirates.

During a meeting with Major General Adel Abdullah Ameen, Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources, His Excellency congratulated the department’s staff on the international achievement, commending their efforts that contributed to securing the prestigious award.

He highlighted that the recognition reflects the Ministry’s success in embedding a culture of institutional excellence and adopting best administrative practices that enhance a positive work environment and support sustainable development.

His Excellency also stressed that this achievement aligns with the vision and directives of the Minister of Interior, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, which focus on investing in human capital, improving workplace environments, and raising institutional efficiency across all sectors of the Ministry.

The Global Continual Improvement Award is considered a leading international platform for exchanging expertise and showcasing best practices in innovation and continuous improvement, with participation from experts and specialists worldwide.

For his part, Major General Adel Abdullah Ameen said the award represents a culmination of the Human Resources Department’s efforts in implementing development initiatives and qualitative programmes aimed at enhancing employee happiness and strengthening a culture of participation and innovation.

He added that the achievement was made possible through the support and guidance of the Minister of Interior, the backing of the President of Public Security, and the close follow-up of the Ministry’s Undersecretary, noting that this has contributed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and encouraging creativity and excellence across the organisation.
