HRH Crown Prince Meets IMF Regional Director, Highlights Bahrain’s Economic Progress
Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on Monday received Dr. Jihad Azour, Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the International Monetary Fund, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted that Bahrain’s commitment to economic diversification and openness has played a vital role in advancing the Kingdom’s economic and financial development, further strengthening its position as a dynamic regional and international hub.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that Bahrain continues to implement development plans aimed at promoting sustainable growth and creating quality opportunities, supporting the Kingdom’s broader economic objectives and long-term aspirations.
The meeting also reviewed issues of mutual interest, in addition to the latest regional and international economic developments.
His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, also attended the meeting.
