The Embassy of Indonesia in Bahrain held an information night for the Bahraini business community to introduce Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026, one of Indonesia’s major international trade events.

The event, held at the Mövenpick Hotel on 14 September 2026 , was organized in collaboration with the Bahrain Indonesia Business and Friendship Society (BIBFS) and attended by more than 80 guests from various business and government sectors.

The information night was held to provide the Bahraini business community with detailed information about TEI 2026, which will take place from 14–18 October 2026 at BSD City, Tangerang, Indonesia.

The event also provided an opportunity for potential buyers, business representatives and other stakeholders to learn more about the products, suppliers and business opportunities available at the expo.

TEI 2026 will bring together Indonesian companies and international buyers, offering opportunities to explore Indonesian products and establish new business connections.

Interest from Bahrain has already resulted in initial trade commitments for agarwood (oud) and coffee, while discussions have also taken place on opportunities in agriculture, plantations and tourism.

The expo will also feature activities by Indonesia’s Ministry of Migrant Worker Protection, including skilled-worker demonstrations and business-matching sessions.

In addition, selected Bahraini media, influencers and tourism representatives will participate in a Media Familiarization Trip, visiting Jakarta, Bandung and Yogyakarta to experience Indonesia’s tourism, culture, heritage and nature alongside their participation in TEI.

The Embassy encouraged Bahraini businesses interested in exploring Indonesian products and potential partnerships to take advantage of TEI 2026 as a platform to meet Indonesian companies and discover new opportunities.
