Asian School Invests New Student Council for Academic Year 2026–2027

The Asian School formally inducted its newly appointed Student Council for the academic year 2026–2027 during its annual Investiture Ceremony held on September 10, 2026. The ceremony marked the official handing over of responsibilities to the student leaders, who took a solemn pledge to serve their peers and uphold the core values of integrity, dedication, and teamwork.
The newly inducted council is led by Head Boy Tanish Mukherjee and Head Girl Ann Binu, along with Deputy Head Boy Sakshaat Guhan and Deputy Head Girl Nayla Muhammed. A total of 40 student leaders across the Junior Council (Grades 3-5) and Senior Council (Grades 6-12) were invested with their badges of office.
The school's athletic wing will be spearheaded by Sports Captain Aaron Koshy Dennis and Sports Vice Captain Darshika Uday. House Captains, Vice Captains, Cultural Secretaries, and Prefects representing various grade levels were also formally sworn in during the event.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, accompanied by a ceremonial Guard of Honour presented by the school band. Following the parade, the newly appointed leaders took the Oath of Office, pledging to carry out their duties with utmost sincerity, commitment, and courage.
Chairperson and Managing Director Mrs. Elizabeth Joseph presented the official School Flag to the leadership team, formally sealing their induction. Addressing the assembly, Principal Mr. Antony Jude highlighted the true essence of student leadership, urging the council members to focus on service, personal growth, and positive community engagement throughout the academic year.
