Transportation Minister Meets Philippines Ambassador in Manama
Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, received Gines Jaime Ricardo Gallaga, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the minister highlighted the strong and steadily developing ties between Bahrain and the Philippines, stressing the importance of enhancing coordination across various sectors to support sustainable development and keep pace with advancements in transport and telecommunications.
Both sides reviewed areas of existing cooperation and discussed opportunities to further expand collaboration, particularly in transport, telecommunications, and logistics.
The ambassador expressed appreciation for Bahrain’s progress in these sectors and reaffirmed his country’s interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation to serve the shared interests of both nations.
