The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain has strongly condemned and denounced the “sinful” Iranian attacks that targeted energy, petrochemical facilities, and critical infrastructure in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
The ministry stated that these repeated hostile actions represent a continuation of a pattern targeting civilian and economic facilities across the Gulf Cooperation Council region, describing them as a serious escalation that threatens regional peace and stability.
It further stressed that such attacks constitute a clear violation of principles of good neighbourliness, international law, and international humanitarian law.
Reaffirming Bahrain’s position, the ministry expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its complete support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.
The statement also urged the international community to take firm and decisive action to halt these hostile and unjustified attacks against regional states and their peaceful populations, in line with United Nations Security Council Resolution UN Security Council Resolution 2817 and the UN Human Rights Council Resolution 38/61.
It added that such measures are essential to ensuring the security of global energy supplies, protecting vital installations, and strengthening regional and international peace and security.
