MP Hasan Ibrahim stressed the importance of unified national efforts in responding to crises and emergencies, highlighting the need for well-structured media plans that ensure rapid information delivery to citizens and residents.
He said clear and timely communication plays a vital role in strengthening public awareness and raising national readiness during exceptional situations.
During his intervention while discussing a proposal to develop media strategies for major incidents, disasters and emergencies, he reaffirmed full support for the Kingdom’s leadership.
He expressed backing for His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in safeguarding Bahrain’s security and stability.
He noted that discussions on crises must also address supply chains, pointing to the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry's role in supporting the commercial sector during such periods.
This comes as regional tensions have led several global shipping companies to halt or reroute vessels bound for Gulf countries, raising concerns over supply continuity.
Ibrahim stressed that preparedness is not limited to response teams alone, but also depends on how quickly and clearly information reaches the public, ensuring calm, awareness and confidence during uncertain times.
