A sense of pride and unity marked Bahrain’s Community Partnership and National Belonging Day, as Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa reaffirmed the strength of the Kingdom’s social fabric.
In a message delivered on the occasion, he said Bahrain’s security, stability and prosperity are rooted in the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, whose reform vision has shaped a society built on cohesion and shared purpose.
He noted that the reform project launched by His Majesty continues to serve as a foundation for policies and initiatives that respond to society’s needs, guided by unity, resilience and a strong national spirit.
This approach, he said, has helped build a reassuring present while shaping a confident and forward-looking future.
The Minister stressed that national belonging goes beyond traditions, describing it as a commitment grounded in loyalty, responsibility and the protection of Bahrain’s social fabric and achievements.
He highlighted that this sense of belonging strengthens community security and reinforces the values defining Bahraini identity.
Under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the government continues to place citizens at the heart of development through a model based on partnership and shared responsibility.
Community partnership, he added, has become a lived reality in Bahraini society, reflected in the growing culture of volunteerism and public engagement.
He pointed to the strong turnout on the national volunteering platform, where tens of thousands stepped forward to serve the Kingdom, as a clear sign of unity in action.
Marking the occasion, he revealed a 30 percent drop in crime rates, describing it as a direct reflection of community cooperation and effective policing.
He expressed appreciation to Bahrain Police, including officers, personnel, and community policing teams.
He concluded by affirming that cohesive societies are better equipped to face challenges, adding that Bahrain’s unity remains its greatest strength.
The message closed with a prayer for the Kingdom’s continued safety, stability and prosperity.
