HM King Issues Decree Ratifying Bahrain–Cyprus Academic Recognition Agreement
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, issued Decree No. (20) of 2026 ratifying the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus on the mutual academic recognition of higher education qualifications for admission to and continuation of studies in higher education institutions.
The decree was issued based on the proposal of the Minister of Education and following the approval of the Cabinet.
According to the decree, the agreement signed in Manama on January 25, 2026, is hereby ratified and forms part of the decree.
The Minister of Education is tasked with implementing the decree, which will come into effect from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
