Bahrain’s electricity and water production, transmission, and distribution systems are operating at full capacity and efficiency, ensuring stable supplies and the continuity of vital services under all circumstances.

This was affirmed by His Excellency Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs.

The statement came during an inspection visit to a desalination plant that sustained material damage following a drone attack attributed to Iranian aggression.

During the visit, the minister reviewed operational processes, production systems, and the monitoring of production facilities, as well as transmission and distribution networks.

He also followed up on technical and operational measures implemented to mitigate the effects of the attack and ensure uninterrupted service.

His Excellency noted that water supplies were unaffected and that production and operations continued normally, while specialized technical teams carried out assessments and remediation work to repair damage to the site.
