Bahrain, UK Review Trade and Investment Cooperation
Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro received Lord Jason Stockwood, the UK Minister for Investment at the Department for Business and Trade, at his office today during the latter’s visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Minister Fakhro welcomed the British minister and praised the deep-rooted historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. He emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen bilateral cooperation across a wide range of sectors, particularly in trade and investment, in line with the shared goals and interests of both countries.
The two sides reviewed the strong relations between Bahrain and the UK and the advanced level they have reached across various fields. They also discussed ways to further enhance cooperation to support growth and prosperity for both nations and their friendly peoples.
