623 Officers Promoted as Bahrain Defence Force Marks 58th Anniversary

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, issued a Royal Order promoting 623 officers of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) across various military ranks. The promotions coincide with the 58th anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain Defence Force.

In a separate Royal Order, His Majesty also approved the awarding of medals to 168 officers and 680 non-commissioned officers and personnel, in recognition of their service and dedication.

On this occasion, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, conveyed the congratulations of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, to the promoted and honoured officers. He wished them continued success in serving the nation and contributing to its progress under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

Marking the anniversary, the Commander-in-Chief also issued orders to promote 3,411 non-commissioned officers, personnel, and civilians of the Bahrain Defence Force across various ranks and grades. Additionally, decorations were awarded to 185 officers and 1,141 non-commissioned officers and personnel in appreciation of their efforts.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa congratulated all those promoted and honoured, expressing hope that these promotions and decorations would serve as motivation to continue giving their best in the line of duty. He stressed the importance of dedication, courage, and commitment in defending the nation, safeguarding its achievements, and supporting the continued development and prosperity of the Bahrain Defence Force.
