King Fahd Causeway Increases Crossing Fees

The King Fahd Causeway Authority has announced updated crossing fees, set to take effect on February 18, 2026, in a bid to improve services and enhance the travel experience between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Under the new pricing structure, one‑way crossing fees will be charged as follows (in Bahraini dinars approximate):

  • BD 3.52 for cars and motorcycles
  • BD 5.53 for minibuses
  • BD 7.04 for large buses
  • BD 0.70 per ton for trucks

The authority confirmed that there will be no change to the current fees for persons with disabilities, students, and daily frequent travellers, which will remain at existing rates.

Motorists and passengers crossing the causeway were encouraged to use the available digital services and follow the official channels of the authority for updates related to procedures and fees.
