MOI Showcases Innovations in Security Awareness at Qatar Exhibition
The Ministry of Interior is taking part in the security exhibition held alongside the joint tactical exercise for GCC security agencies, Arabian Gulf Security 4, which is being hosted by the State of Qatar from January 30 to February 4, 2026, at Qatar Mall.
The participation comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security cooperation among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, exchange expertise, and showcase best practices in security awareness and prevention. It also aims to support regional security and stability, highlight the role of media and security awareness, and reinforce the principle of community partnership.
Through its pavilion, the Ministry is presenting interactive and awareness-focused content targeting different segments of society. The displays promote concepts of community security, prevention, and national responsibility, using modern approaches and innovative communication technologies.
The exhibition features contributions from the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture, which is showcasing visual and audio awareness materials, cultural publications highlighting the history of the Bahrain Police, and various security awareness resources. A dedicated section has also been set aside for children’s awareness through Watani Children’s Magazine.
In addition, the Child Protection in Cyberspace Unit, under the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, is educating children about the importance of protecting their security, privacy, and safety online.
Meanwhile, the “Maan” Programme is offering visitors an interactive experience using virtual reality (VR) technology. The programme focuses on educating children about key preventive practices, protecting them from exposure to violence, raising awareness of the risks of addiction, and strengthening community partnership in crime prevention.
