HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad marks his presence at the Third Round of Bahrain Turf Series

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, attended the third round of the fifth edition of the Bahrain Turf Series, held during the 14th race meeting of the 2025–2026 season at the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir.

 The event was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. The race meeting was contested for the Cup of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, along with cups named after his sons.

 The programme included several key races within the Bahrain Turf Series, notably the Al Adiyat Cup, sponsored by Bareeq, and the Al Wasmiya Cup, sponsored by the National Bank of Bahrain, in addition to the Al Adiyat Bahrain-Bred Cup and the Huntsman Cup. A large audience, including members of the diplomatic corps and representatives of sponsoring entities, attended the meeting, which featured strong competition across all races.

 Winners were crowned during the event, with trophies presented to successful owners, trainers and jockeys. Among the highlights, the horse Another Baar claimed victory in the fifth round to win the Al Wasmiya Cup, while Phantom Flight, owned by Victorious Forever, secured the Al Adiyat Cup for the second consecutive season. The evening concluded with the staging of six additional races.
