HM King Hamad Affirms Strong Ties Between Bahrain and Jordan

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa expressed his pride in the deep historical and brotherly ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, noting that these relations continue to grow stronger and develop through mutual efforts to enhance and strengthen them.

The remarks came during a meeting at Al-Sakhir Palace with His Excellency Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, who is visiting Bahrain. His Excellency conveyed greetings and regards from His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and his best wishes for the continued development and prosperity of Bahrain and its people. In return, King Hamad sent his sincere greetings and wishes for further progress and growth to King Abdullah II and the people of Jordan.

His Majesty welcomed the Jordanian guest and highlighted the importance of such fraternal visits in strengthening cooperation, consultation, and coordination on various issues, especially in light of ongoing regional developments, in ways that serve the mutual interests of both countries.

King Hamad also praised King Abdullah II’s efforts in consolidating the distinguished relations between the two nations and Jordan’s role in supporting Arab cooperation and promoting peace, security, and stability in the region.

For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Safadi thanked King Hamad for his warm hospitality and praised his efforts in reinforcing the historic and strong bonds between Bahrain and Jordan. He also commended Bahrain’s honorable stance in Arab affairs and wished the kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity.
