The Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) has handed over a newly constructed home, titled "Snehaveedu" (Home of Love), to P.P. Sukumaran, a former BKS Indoor Games Secretary and a resident of Bahrain for nearly four decades. The initiative was launched to support Sukumaran, who faced significant financial and health challenges in his later years. BKS facilitated the project by purchasing the land and funding the entire construction.

The key handover ceremony was presided over by BKS President P.V. Radhakrishna Pillai, with former Kerala Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala performing the official inauguration. Chennithala praised BKS for its exemplary welfare activities, noting that the organization serves as a global model for Malayali associations. He highlighted that BKS had even extended its reach to his constituency, Haripad, by constructing two houses there.

President P.V. Radhakrishna Pillai announced that the organization has successfully completed 35 houses to date under its housing scheme for expatriates in need. He expressed his deep gratitude to the diaspora community for their continued cooperation and financial support. The event was attended by General Secretary Varghese Karakkal and several other prominent community leaders.
