Bahrain Monitors Yemen Situation, Calls for De-escalation and Dialogue
The Kingdom of Bahrain is closely monitoring the latest developments in Yemen and has expressed deep concern over the recent escalation of tensions. Officials highlighted that these developments threaten Yemen’s sovereignty, internal stability, and regional security.
Bahrain urged the Yemeni people to exercise wisdom and restraint, stressing the importance of halting further escalation to restore and maintain peace and stability in the country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also welcomed the Yemeni initiative to hold a comprehensive conference bringing together all southern components to discuss fair solutions to the southern issue. Bahrain described the initiative as a positive step toward reducing tensions, promoting dialogue, and achieving a political settlement.
Officials emphasized that such diplomatic efforts are vital for safeguarding the interests of the Yemeni people, ensuring security and development, and supporting regional peace and stability.
