Cancer Care Group Hosts New Year Family Gathering

TDT I Manama 

The Cancer Care Group, an affiliate of the Bahrain Cancer Society, organized a vibrant New Year family gathering, bringing together community members and distinguished guests to celebrate the spirit of solidarity and service. The event featured renowned magician and Executive Director of the Different Art Centre, Gopinath Muthukad, along with famous mentalist Fazil Basheer as the guests of honor.

Presided over by Cancer Care Group President Dr. P.V. Cheriyan, the ceremony included remarks from several prominent community figures. General Secretary K.T. Salim welcomed the attendees, while Executive Committee Member Abdul Zaheer delivered the vote of thanks.

A significant highlight of the gathering was the recognition of individuals who recently donated their hair for the production of wigs for cancer patients. These donors were honored with certificates from the Bahrain Cancer Society in appreciation of their selfless contribution.

The event saw a turnout of approximately 150 participants, including socio-cultural leaders, special invitees, family members of the Cancer Care Group, and volunteers from BDK and Niark.
