'Tribute to Bahrain' Event Marks Centennial of Sree Narayana Guru's All-Religion Conference

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the historic All-Religion Conference led by Sree Narayana Guru at the Aluva Advaita Ashram, the Sree Narayana Cultural Society (SNCS) Bahrain, in collaboration with Billawas, organized the second edition of the event titled 'Tribute to Bahrain - The Confluence of Cultures, The Spirit of Humanism.'
The celebratory function, held at the Gulf Air Club in Salmabad, was presided over by SNCS Chairman Krishnakumar.
Kerala Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Advocate G.R. Anil, was the Chief Guest for the evening. The event was officially inaugurated by Swamy Rithambarananda, former General Secretary of the Sivagiri Mutt. Dignitaries who delivered felicitation addresses included Advocate Chandy Oommen MLA and Raman Gupta, Attaché at the Indian Embassy.
The cultural segment of the evening was highlighted by a musical performance led by reality show stars, including Idea Star Singer fame Anusree and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame Aswin.
During the ceremony, awards were presented to individuals who have made significant contributions in various fields: Rajan Ambalathara, Jayashankar Viswanathan, Bhaskar Devji, and Vishnu Babu Pillai were honored. The entire program was successfully organized under the leadership of Suresh Karunakaran, Suneesh Susheelan, and Harish Poojary.
