Umm Al Quwain Announces 40% Discount on Traffic Fines Ahead of UAE National Day
Dubai: Umm Al Quwain has announced a 40% discount on traffic fines, offering motorists substantial relief as the UAE prepares to celebrate its 54th National Day. The discount will be available from December 1, 2025, through January 9, 2026, giving residents and visitors more than a month to settle outstanding violations at a reduced rate.
The initiative comes as the nation gears up for the National Day holidays. The UAE will mark its 54th National Day on Tuesday, December 2, and authorities have declared a two-day holiday for both public and private sector employees.
The long weekend is expected to boost travel and retail activity across the country, with many residents planning domestic trips and shopping outings.
