Sustainable mobility competition for university students

The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has launched the Mobility Sustainathon, a competition for university and college students in the Kingdom of Bahrain aimed at promoting sustainable transport solutions and supporting the development of smart, eco-friendly cities.
H.E. Fatima Abdullah Al Dhaen, Undersecretary for Land Transport and Postal Affairs, said the initiative is part of the ministry’s efforts to engage youth in shaping the future of Bahrain’s transport sector.
She noted that students’ innovative ideas will help advance smart and sustainable transport systems that enhance quality of life and support digital transformation.
