Bahrain Hosts Opening of 12th Judicial Foundation Course for GCC Military Officers

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, attended the opening ceremony of the 12th Judicial Foundation Course at the Military Prosecution for officers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, along with military and security agencies in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The event was held at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) headquarters.

The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech delivered by the Minister of Defence Affairs. In his remarks, he extended deep gratitude and appreciation to Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, for his unwavering support of military judicial training programs hosted in the Kingdom.

He also welcomed the participating officers from Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Kuwait, joining their counterparts from Bahrain’s military and security institutions in the judicial course.

Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of such initiatives in enhancing cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and strengthening legal and judicial capabilities across GCC armed forces.

During the ceremony, Major General Dr. Yousef Rashid Flaifel, Chief Military Justice and President of the Military Court of Cassation, presented an overview of the course curriculum.

The opening was attended by several senior officers of the Bahrain Defence Force.
