Bahrain, India look to future with AI-focused collaboration

His Excellency Mr. Vinod K Jacob, Ambassador of India to Bahrain, welcomed Indian companies and business groups to enhance their cooperation with the Kingdom including in the important area of Artificial Intelligence.
Speaking at an event organised by Bahrain India Society in collaboration with Almoayyed Computers Middle East in Bahrain on 14 September 2025, the Ambassador expressed hope that Bahraini stakeholders would participate in the upcoming INDIA AI IMPACT SUMMIT scheduled to take place in New Delhi in February 2026.
Developments
Ambassador Jacob also highlighted recent developments in India-Bahrain bilateral relations including the launch of electronic visa system for Bahraini nationals to visit India, opening of new Indian Consular Application Center in Bahrain Mall, across the board reduction of 5 to 6 percent on service fees for Consular services provided by Indian Embassy, contribution of Indian Naval Ship Tarkash to regional security in collaboration with CMF in April this year which led to interdiction of almost 2500 kg of narcotics seizures as well as planned business delegation visits to Bahrain.
