Capital Governor Promotes Traffic Safety Awareness Among Students

Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, the Capital Governor, attended a traffic safety awareness lecture organized by the Capital Governorate for students of Modern Knowledge School, in cooperation with Jetour Bahrain. The event also saw the participation of the school’s board of directors, teachers, and company representatives.

The initiative is part of a comprehensive program launched by the Capital Governorate in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic and several partners. The program aims to educate children and youth about traffic rules and encourage adherence to regulations from an early age, fostering a generation committed to promoting road safety across society.

During the lecture, Lama Al Hammadi from the General Directorate of Traffic presented simplified guidelines and demonstrations emphasizing safe road crossing, the importance of following traffic signals, and the role of families and schools in nurturing these values among students.

Approximately 150 primary school students attended the session, participating in interactive discussions on traffic safety practices.

The event concluded with the distribution of gifts provided by Jetour Bahrain to the students, serving as an incentive to reinforce safe behavior and adherence to traffic regulations in their daily lives.
