National Guard President Praises BDF’s Role in Protecting Bahrain’s Borders

His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of the National Guard, today received Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), at the National Guard headquarters. The meeting was also attended by Lieutenant-General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Director of Staff of the National Guard.

At the start of the meeting, HH the National Guard President welcomed the Chief of Staff and praised the strong cooperation and coordination between the National Guard and the BDF. He highlighted that this partnership has resulted in the successful execution of several command and operational exercises, as well as the exchange of expertise between the two forces.

HH also commended the pivotal role of the BDF in safeguarding Bahrain’s borders and protecting the Kingdom’s sovereignty, stressing its position as the first line of defense for the nation.

The discussions further covered topics of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance military coordination and cooperation between the two sides. The meeting underlined the shared commitment to strengthening national security, stability, and the protection of Bahrain’s achievements.
