Deputy Public Security Chief Attends Police Academy Graduation Ceremony

Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, attended the graduation ceremony for several specialized training courses at the Royal Police Academy. The event brought together officers and personnel from various departments of the Ministry of Interior, reflecting ongoing efforts to enhance professional skills and strengthen security capabilities.

In his remarks, Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad emphasized that these training programmes are a key part of the Ministry’s strategy to modernize and develop the security sector. He credited the vision of Interior Minister His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the support of Public Security Chief Lieutenant-General Tariq Al Hassan for advancing training efforts across the Ministry. He noted that such courses play a crucial role in equipping security personnel with the knowledge and tools needed to address evolving challenges efficiently.

Brigadier Fawaz Al Hassan, Commandant of the Royal Police Academy, highlighted the Academy’s collaborative approach with various security units to identify training needs and develop tailored educational frameworks. These programmes incorporate modern techniques and evaluation tools to ensure practical and academic effectiveness.

The courses included training in family and child protection, Arabic and French language skills, and computer literacy. They were delivered by the Officers Training College, the Language Centre, and the E-Learning and Training Team, with active participation from Ministry staff.

The ceremony concluded with Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad presenting certificates to the graduates. He praised the organizers and instructors for their efforts and congratulated the participants, wishing them success in their roles as they contribute to the security and stability of the Kingdom.
