Bahrain’s summer heat is set to continue, according to a weather report issued today by the Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications.
The report states that the Kingdom will experience typically hot weather during the daytime over the next two days, with light and variable winds expected to shift to moderate by midday.
However, starting Tuesday, June 17, 2025, northwesterly winds are expected to pick up and become active, occasionally reaching strong speeds. This shift may stir up dust in open areas and lead to rougher sea conditions. These stronger winds are expected to persist for about a week.
On a slightly positive note, the strong northwesterly winds will help lower humidity levels, which could make the heat feel a bit more bearable at times.
The Meteorological Directorate is advising the public—especially beachgoers and seafarers—to remain cautious during this period and to stay updated through the official weather bulletins and alerts issued via the Ministry’s channels.
