Technical snag on Dubai-bound flight with 179 passengers
Thiruvananthapuram : An Air India Express flight, which left for Dubai from South India's Thiruvananthapuram, returned after completing almost half of the journey due to a technical snag on October 29.
Flight IX 539, with 179 passengers and six crew members on board, returned to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport after the pilots noticed that the Autopilot was not functioning, airline sources said.
The flight landed at 8.20 pm and the passengers left for Dubai later in another flight, the sources said.
