Disney and TikTok Team Up in New Content Deal
The Walt Disney Co. has signed a first-of-its-kind agreement with TikTok, allowing users to incorporate clips from Disney films and characters into their videos.
The partnership aims to encourage fan-created content and strengthen engagement with Disney+, supporting Disney’s broader digital storytelling strategy.
Disney did not disclose financial details of the agreement.
The announcement came alongside the company’s quarterly earnings, which showed revenue rising 7% to $25.2 billion, while net profit fell to $2.8 billion, mainly due to higher taxes. Despite the decline in profit, the results exceeded analysts’ expectations.
