Seattle: The number of suspects believed to be involved in the fatal shooting at Seattle's Bite of Seattle food festival has risen to three, according to police, as police expand their investigation into the incident that killed three people and injured four more.
Authorities stated a 15 years old suspect was arrested, while a 19 years old alleged gunman was killed during the exchange of fire. Police currently search for a third unidentified suspect, who they believe was also involved in the shooting.
Gunfire occurred near the Space Needle on Sunday evening during the annual food festival, sending fearful crowds running around. The motive for the shooting is unknown, but authorities believe it was tied to gang activity.
As efforts to identify and locate the other suspect continue, police are looking over CCTV evidence and asking witnesses to come forward. The public isn't currently in danger, according to officials, but the inquiry is still ongoing.
