UK man charged with murder of right-wing ex-MP Ann Widdecombe

London: A man aged 28 has been charged with the murder of Ann Widdecombe, former British MP and right-wing political figure who was found dead at her Devon home on July 9th.
Joshua Kerry, from Rotherham, was arrested in South Yorkshire and charged with murder. Counter-terrorism investigators are leading the inquiry as authorities look into the circumstances surrounding Widdecombe's killing and whether there was a political or ideological motive.
Widdecombe, 78, was the former Conservative MP and government minister who later became a prominent Brexit supporter and Reform UK figure. She was discovered with terrible injuries at her house on July 9 and later pronounced dead.
Kerry appeared before Westminster Magistrates' Court and is expected to face further charges. Police have advised the public not to speculate while the inquiry is ongoing.
