Qatar Rejects Reports Claiming It Approved Military Action Against Iran
International Media Office dismisses Israeli media reports as false, says Doha remains committed to mediation efforts
Qatar’s International Media Office has firmly rejected reports published by Israeli media outlets claiming that Doha had agreed to participate in military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The office described the reports as “false allegations” and said such claims were being circulated by individuals seeking to drag Qatar into the conflict, undermine its key mediation role, and push the region towards further escalation and instability.
Qatar reiterated that it has consistently maintained, since the beginning of the conflict, that it has not and will not take part in any military action against any neighbouring country.
The International Media Office stressed that Qatar would not allow misleading claims to affect its ongoing diplomatic efforts to help end the conflict.
It added that Doha will continue its mediation efforts in coordination with regional and international partners to reach a comprehensive and lasting agreement that addresses the concerns of all parties involved.
