Jordan, Kuwait Condemn Foiled Terror Plot Targeting Bahrain

Jordan and Kuwait have strongly condemned a foiled terrorist plot targeting Bahrain, reaffirming their support for the Kingdom’s security and stability.

In an official statement, Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the plot as a serious threat to Bahrain’s sovereignty and public safety, rejecting it as an attempt to destabilize the country. The ministry expressed full solidarity with Bahrain and pledged support for all measures taken to protect its citizens and residents.

Jordan also reiterated its firm stance against terrorism in all forms, emphasizing the importance of maintaining regional stability.

Kuwait issued a similar condemnation, calling the plot a “malicious” attempt to undermine Bahrain’s security. Authorities noted that investigations suggested possible links to Hezbollah, raising concerns about external involvement.

Kuwait praised Bahrain’s security forces for successfully thwarting the planned attack and safeguarding public safety. It also reaffirmed its full support for Bahrain’s efforts to maintain stability.

Both countries underscored the need for collective action against terrorism and stressed the importance of strengthening security across the Gulf Cooperation Council.
