UAE to Resume Immediate Airdrops of Gaza Aid

The United Arab Emirates will resume humanitarian airdrops over Gaza with immediate effect, Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan announced yesterday, citing the worsening conditions in the besieged territory.
“The humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached a critical and unprecedented level,” he said in a statement on X (formerly Twitter). “We will ensure essential aid reaches those most in need, whether through land, air, or sea. Airdrops are resuming once more, immediately.”
The move comes as aid groups continue to warn of mass starvation in Gaza, with access to basic supplies severely restricted due to the ongoing blockade.
