Emirates Group Launches Massive Global Hiring Drive for 17,300 New Roles

The Emirates Group is kicking off a major global recruitment campaign as it gears up for a new chapter of rapid growth. This year, the aviation giant plans to hire 17,300 new employees — roughly the size of a small town — to fill over 350 roles across its global operations.

The hiring spree will support both Emirates, the world’s largest and most profitable international airline, and dnata, a global leader in air and travel services. Roles range from cabin crew, pilots, engineers, and IT specialists, to customer service, sales, HR, finance, and ground handling. dnata alone is looking to bring in over 4,000 professionals in cargo, catering, and ground services.

HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, said the recruitment push aligns with the ambitious Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Group’s growth outlook.

“We’re seeking world-class talent to fuel our bold ambition, redefine the future of aviation, and continue our commitment to innovation and excellence.”

To meet its hiring targets, the Group will host over 2,100 recruitment events in 150 cities throughout the year, including special sessions in Dubai aimed at attracting young Emirati graduates and students. These events offer candidates a chance to engage directly with experienced recruiters and longtime staff.

Since 2022, the Emirates Group has added more than 41,000 new employees, including 27,000 in operational roles, bringing its total global workforce to 121,000.

The Group continues to be a top employer of choice, both in the UAE and globally. Last year alone, it received over 3.7 million job applications, drawn by the company’s strong global brand, tax-free salaries, competitive benefits, and its reputation for staff development and career growth.

In addition to the appeal of Dubai’s safe and dynamic lifestyle, those hired for Dubai-based roles enjoy generous benefits, including:

  • Profit-sharing

  • Comprehensive medical and life insurance

  • Flight benefits for employees and family

  • Discounted cargo services

  • Access to hundreds of retail, hospitality, and lifestyle discounts

This hiring initiative reflects the Group’s confidence in its future and its commitment to shaping the next generation of aviation and travel professionals.
