Bhavans- Bahrain Indian School (BIS)’s Kindergarten Wing organised a Moms’ Coffee Morning as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen school-parent engagement and promote a culture of warmth and inclusivity on campus.
With steaming cups, friendly interactions, and an atmosphere of gracious warmth, the school celebrated the presence of mothers in a setting designed to offer a brief yet meaningful pause from daily routines. The campus transformed into a welcoming space where mothers stepped away from the morning rush to rest, reconnect, and unwind.
The event provided an opportunity for parents to interact with teachers, engage with fellow parents, and experience school life through their wards’ perspectives. Informal conversations over coffee fostered a sense of community, allowing participants to reflect on childhood, learning, and the shared journey of education. Moments of calm and connection marked the morning, reinforcing BIS’s commitment to nurturing strong partnerships with parents and creating spaces that value emotional well-being alongside academic excellence.
School Directors Mr. Himanshu Verma & Mrs. Ritu Verma and Principal Mr Saji Jacob thanked the mothers and appreciated their active participation and continued support in strengthening the school–parent partnership.
“At BIS, we strongly believe that a child’s learning journey is most meaningful when parents and educators work hand in hand. The Moms’ Coffee Morning is a warm and welcoming initiative that strengthens the bond between home and school” said Mrs. Ritu Verma during her interaction with the parents.
