The New Indian School Hosts ‘Dia El Comercia 2026–2027’

The Commerce Department of The New Indian School W.L.L., Kingdom of Bahrain, organized its annual Commerce Day titled ‘Dia El Comercia 2026–2027’, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, for senior commerce students of Classes XI and XII. The event provided an interactive platform designed to expose students to real-world business dynamics while sharpening their creativity, leadership, communication, and entrepreneurial skills.

The session commenced with a welcome address by Principal Dr. K. Goyinath Menon, followed by an inaugural address by Director Mr. Joby K. Augustine. Delivering the keynote address, Chief Guest Mr. Meenakshi Sundaram, CFO of Business International Group, shared valuable industry insights with the aspiring business leaders.

During the event, certificates were presented to the winners of the Inter-School Business Leader Competition to honor their outstanding performance. Marking another major milestone, the school officially launched the 3rd Edition of its Commerce E-Newsletter. Felicitations were extended by Vice Principals Mr. P. Mohan and Mr. Baiju George, underscoring the department's ongoing academic and co-curricular achievements.

The day featured a diverse array of student-led competitions and creative activities. An expert-led Career Guidance session was also conducted. The event concluded with the official declaration of competition results and certificate distribution.
