Bahrain Indian School (BIS) had the honour of hosting the prestigious ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour 2026 at its campus, in collaboration with the Bahrain Cricket Federation. The landmark event brought global sporting excitement directly to the school community and offered students a rare opportunity to witness one of international cricket’s most iconic symbols.

The special engagement session enabled students to experience the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy first-hand, inspiring them through exposure to a world-class sporting event and reinforcing the values of excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The visit created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and pride across the campus.  

An official photo session formed an integral part of the programme, with students proudly dressed in their physical education uniforms, reflecting discipline and unity. The trophy was formally welcomed by the School Directors, Mr Himanshu Verma and Mrs Ritu Verma, along with Principal, Mr Saji Jacob, in the presence of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup officials, marking a memorable moment in the school’s history.
