GCC Ministers Discuss Future of Housing

Housing ministers from across the GCC have arrived in Bahrain for the 24th meeting of the GCC Committee of Ministers Responsible for Housing Affairs, as the Kingdom hosts a wider programme focused on the future of housing in the region.
Housing and Urban Planning Minister Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi welcomed the visiting ministers and highlighted the importance of sharing expertise and experiences to advance joint Gulf housing initiatives. The meeting will address cooperation, coordination and programmes aimed at developing the housing sector across GCC countries.
The ministerial gathering forms part of the fourth Gulf Housing Week, which includes the second 2026 Social Housing Innovation Conference and Exhibition. The programme brings together government officials, housing specialists and representatives from the banking and real estate sectors to examine innovative housing solutions and opportunities for greater partnership.
