Gulf solidarity took centre stage at Riffa Palace as HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, welcomed GCC Secretary General Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi and delegation heads attending the 24th GCC Committee of Ministers Responsible for Housing Affairs.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reaffirmed Bahrain's commitment, under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to joint Gulf initiatives driving shared prosperity. He pointed to the region's deep-rooted ties, still evolving under the vision of GCC leaders, as the bedrock for continued progress.

Greetings were exchanged on behalf of Their Majesties and Highnesses across the Gulf, with HRH conveying HM the King's regards in return and wishing delegates success in advancing the region's housing agenda.

The visit coincides with Bahrain's hosting of the fourth Gulf Housing Week, where Housing and Urban Planning Minister Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi welcomed counterparts and stressed the value of shared expertise. Running alongside the ministerial talks is the second Social Housing Innovation Conference and Exhibition, drawing officials, specialists, and banking and real estate leaders to explore fresh housing solutions across the GCC.
