HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, visited the Ministry of Information and the National Communication Centre on Wednesday, praising the media sector's role during Bahrain's response to the recent Iranian aggression.

Conveying HM King Hamad's greetings, HRH the Crown Prince thanked Ministry, NCC and local press staff for their efficiency and professionalism under pressure, stressing the media's role in raising awareness, countering misinformation and reinforcing national unity — work he framed within the "Team Bahrain" spirit of collective national effort.

He met editors-in-chief of local newspapers, commending journalists' coverage of developments and defence of Bahrain during the exceptional circumstances, and called for continued sector development to keep pace with rapid global media shifts, strengthening Bahrain's regional and international standing.

During the visit, HRH the Crown Prince was briefed on Ministry and NCC workflows and met staff across departments.

Minister of Information Dr Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi said the HM the King's recognition was a source of pride and motivation for the sector.
