FUJIFILM launches Women4Women initiative in Middle East
FUJIFILM Middle East has launched the first regional edition of its Women4Women initiative, bringing together women leaders and professionals from diverse sectors to promote purpose-driven leadership, mentorship and meaningful dialogue.
Held at the company's office in Expo City Dubai under the theme "Women creating impact through purpose and leadership," the event welcomed FUJIFILM employees alongside members of the Expo City community, including representatives from Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion and the Women's Pavilion. The gathering featured networking sessions, panel discussions and interactive activities designed to inspire women to lead with confidence and purpose.
Originally introduced in Europe in 2020, Women4Women was created to celebrate women's stories, aspirations and achievements. The Middle East edition featured desert ecologist Georgina Pereira, entrepreneur and photographer Yana Tsi, and Ghiwa Khoury, Marketing Manager at FUJIFILM Healthcare Middle East, who shared their personal and professional journeys across environmental conservation, creative entrepreneurship and healthcare innovation.
Speaking at the event, Reshma Keshava, Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager at FUJIFILM Middle East, said the initiative aims to create a space where women can move beyond job titles and connect through authentic conversations.
"True inspiration comes from shared experiences, resilience and honest dialogue. We want to build an environment where everyone feels seen, heard and empowered to lead with purpose," she said.
The discussion explored topics including building confidence, finding one's voice, career transitions, leadership and mentorship. Pereira reflected on her journey from a legal career to desert ecology and fungal conservation, highlighting the importance of raising awareness about often-overlooked ecosystems through science, education and storytelling.
Tsi spoke about leaving the corporate world to pursue photography and visual storytelling, encouraging women to embrace change and build careers that reflect their values and creativity. Khoury shared insights from her experience across advertising, banking and healthcare, discussing leadership, resilience, credibility and balancing career ambitions with family life.
The event concluded with networking sessions, portrait photography and Instax photo activities, encouraging participants to strengthen professional connections while reflecting on how they can mentor and support other women in their workplaces and communities.
