Dubai Gaming Hub Grows to 165 Companies

Dubai's gaming industry continues to expand, with the DMCC Gaming Centre reaching 165 member companies, an 80% increase over the past year.

The centre added nearly 40 companies during the last 12 months, highlighting growing interest from game developers, publishers, esports businesses and other companies looking to establish a presence in Dubai and access markets across the Middle East and beyond.

The growth was announced by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) during Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, where it also signed a strategic partnership with the Serbian Games Association. The agreement aims to strengthen commercial links between gaming businesses in Dubai and Serbia through market access, business connections, knowledge sharing and joint industry initiatives.

The DMCC Gaming Centre operates as part of DMCC's wider technology ecosystem, which now includes more than 4,000 companies across gaming, artificial intelligence, crypto, Web3 and cybersecurity.

DMCC says the Gaming Centre provides developers, publishers and esports companies with access to investors, industry partners, talent and international markets. Its wider ecosystem also includes partnerships with companies such as Unity, Xsolla and Nexus.

The latest figures reinforce Dubai's growing role as a regional base for gaming companies seeking to develop and expand globally.
