Star Surprise bags feature race

Outsider Star Surprise owned by Yasmeen Hussain Ahmed Aldailami, trained by Hussain Aldailami and ridden by P Convertion won the feature race yesterday for the PARS International Hotel Cup for imported handicap (0-85) three years and upwards over 1,800 metres and worth BD3,000 in the seventh and final race in the fifth meeting of the season at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in Sakhir.

Coming in second half a length behind Labarinto owned by Bouresli Racing Syndicate, trained by Fadhel Al Asfoor and ridden by Hassan Al Saffar.

Following in third place a length and a half behind was Iffraam owned by Late A Rasool K Darwish Stable, trained by AbdullaHaji and ridden by Jacob Butterfield, with fourth place going to second favourite Rio Mio owned by Elias Abdulla Haji, trained by Abdulla Haji and ridden by Abdulla Faisal.
