KPMG Fakhro, Bahrain participates in the BCICAI
KPMG in Bahrain recently took part in the Bahrain Chapter of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) held this year at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel. The annual event featured presentations from renowned speakers, including KPMG experts, on topics related to fostering growth and corporate governance. Partner and Head of Audit at KPMG in Bahrain Jaffar AlQubaiti confirmed the firm’s commitment to supporting this annual event for the seventh consecutive year because of the value it brings to the practice.
AlQubaiti also emphasised the significant role of accountants throughout the decision-making process in setting strategies and legislations. Attending such events present ideal platform for accountants to stay updated with the latest standards and values that an accountant must acquire to ensure full compliance throughout their career, he added.
In line with this year’s theme, KPMG’s Global head of Family Business Christophe Bernard and Partner and Head of Enterprise in KPMG’s Middle East and South Asia Harish Gopinath delivered a joint presentation providing a regional and global perspective on family businesses planning and governance.
