Joint Arab action in addressing current regional challenges took centre stage during a phone call between Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad.
The two ministers discussed ways to enhance coordination and cooperation in confronting ongoing developments, with a view to supporting regional security and stability.
They also reviewed the strong Bahraini-Egyptian relations and explored opportunities to further strengthen cooperation across various fields.
The discussion touched on the latest regional developments and their implications, underscoring the importance of continued consultation and unified efforts.
The talks come as Bahrain holds the presidency of the current session of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, chairs the Arab League Council at the ministerial level, and serves as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
