His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa extended congratulations to the officials, players, and supporters of Al-Muharraq SC following their victory in the HM the King’s Cup for Football, after defeating Al-Riffa SC.
His Majesty praised Al-Muharraq’s strong and consistent performances throughout the competition, highlighting the team’s technical quality and the collective efforts of players and coaching and administrative staff that led to the championship title.
He also acknowledged Al-Riffa’s commendable display in the final, describing their performance as competitive and spirited, and wished the team success in upcoming tournaments.
The King commended both sides for the high level of football shown in the final, noting that the match reflected the continued progress of Bahraini football and its growing standards across domestic competitions.
He further praised the significant turnout of fans from both clubs, saying their presence and encouragement contributed to the final’s intensity and spirit.
