Tender Board opens bids for major government contracts

The Tender Board opened 30 bids across five contracts covering cleaning services, hotel linen, IT support, utility parts, and industrial chemicals.
The most competitive tender was for cleaning services at Exhibition World Bahrain, attracting 14 bids. Offers ranged from BHD 1.00 million to over BHD 47 million, with several bids still under review or marked conditional.
Four bids were received for hotel linen supply, with prices starting from BHD 96,886. IT support services for the Ministry of Social Development drew six bids, ranging from BHD 15,048 to BHD 250,173.
Bapco Upstream’s chemical supply contract for triethylene glycol saw five bidders, with prices reaching over BHD 3.19 million. Meanwhile, one bid was received for utility parts supply at the Electricity and Water Authority.
Officials said all bids are subject to technical and financial evaluation before final awards.
